LIF Vietnam's Narrow Belt Sorter system is an advanced automated sorting solution, outstanding for its flexible and efficient handling of many diverse types of goods, including cartons, polybags, sacks, envelopes, and also irregularly shaped items or those with loose parts. This system uses continuously moving 'carriers/sliding carts', where the surface of each carrier is formed by multiple narrow belt strips placed closely together. When sorting is needed, these narrow belt strips will coordinate to push the item resting on them sideways accurately at a 90-degree angle into the destination chute or line.
Main advantages include the capability to handle a wide range of goods sizes and weights (up to 60kg/m) with high capacity (exceeding 5,000 items/hour for an average size of 500mm, maximum 10,000 items/hour). Thanks to its modular design, installation is carried out quickly, maintenance is simplified, and continuous operation time is ensured.
